Okinawa Prefecture is the only prefecture in Japan with a subtropical climate (excluding some remote islands). One of the industries that can make the most of this climate is coffee cultivation. It may come as a surprise, but coffee has been cultivated since the Meiji period!
Even now on Kumejima, farmers are running coffee farms that allow them to fully utilize their individuality.
Shirase Coffee Farm's coffee will be awarded the highest rank of specialty according to global standards in 2022, and Kumejima coffee is also moving forward as a brand!
You can experience the process of coffee growing from a coffee tree to a cup of coffee on Kumejima.

個性あふれる久米島コーヒー農園の１か所を見学します。
農園によってシークワサーの木と並んでいたり、鶏などの動物がたくさんいたり、バナナの畑をコーヒー農園にしていたりそれぞれのカラーが楽しめるので、何度も申し込んでいただいても飽きることなく楽しんでいただけます。

注意事項：汚れてもいい長袖長ズボン、汚れてもいい靴でご参加ください。（お持ちでない方は集合時間前にご相談ください。）屋外になりますので、帽子や日焼け止めなどの紫外線対策をお勧めします。水分補給のためのお飲み物をお持ちください。

Participation requirements: Ages 3 and up (3-6 years old free)
Note: Please wear long sleeves, long pants, and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. (If you don't have them, please let us know before the meeting time.) Since it will be outdoors, we recommend that you take measures against ultraviolet rays such as wearing a hat and sunscreen. Please bring drinks to stay hydrated.
We will try to accommodate your preferred meeting time as much as possible, so please let us know your preferred time.
★Coffee Roasting Experience★
Let's roast the coffee cherries and make them drinkable.
You can take the roasted coffee home with you.
